Single Storey - Boscobel, Sherwood or Majesty

Single storey garages come in a range for four standard depths - 5m, 5.6m, 5.9m and 6.5m with a variety of combinations. Open bays, oak garage doors, weatherboarding with windows and personnel doors or any mix. You can add a logstore to either side or indeed both.

Double Storey, Victory or Glastonbury

Double storey garages have a variety of uses. Guest bedrooms, Home offices, Granny flats, Hobby rooms, Workshops or indeed anything else you can think of. They can be insulated for all year round use or left as uninsulated storage space. Garages with rooms above would normally have gabled ends or barn hips - sometimes called Dutch hips as fully hipped roofs will substantially reduce the usable space.

Garage complexes can be single storey or two storey. Single storey complexes can be almost any number of bays and still be built under permitted development if the site is big enough. A combination of roofstyles are also available and can be mixed and matched to create interesting roof shapes.

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The process for any oak frame building is essentially the same. Planning Permission (if required) Building Regulations (if required) Foundations (Groundworks) Oak frame assembly Roof tiling We can provide a quotation for stand alone buildings from the online forms, for extensions to your home, we would usually prefer to pay a visit to site but can provide a quotation subject to site survey. To place an order, we then require a 10% deposit. Our delivery times are generally 10-12 weeks from order or planning approval. The oak frame is then assembled after first being machined in our workshops ready for the roof tiling.
